Using primer question

I want to use a primer to help my makeup last all day at special events (or even work days).

Do you apply moisturizer and then primer?

Or do you use primer instead of moisturizer.

Also, do you have to put your makeup on right after you use the primer? Or can you apply it, then put on makeup like a 1/2 hour later. Does that matter?

moist then primer, I applymakeup soonafter the primer..l(i dont wait)

I have combo skin and I only moisturze at night when I DO (I can't all the time because then I'll be an oily mess).. When I use primer, I'll just use the primer and then apply the make-up.. no moisturizer

I've had my makeup professional done a lot and I usually moisturizer for the day then go get it done and they always ask. So I assume that they would use moisturizer on me if I hadn't used it already.

I have oily skin so I *try* to only use primer but on some days my skin is dry and in that case I'll use moisturizer first, then primer.
