what is follistim?
Can someone briefly clue me in on what is follistim and what it is used for or in conjunction with? Is it a drug or injectable? thanks

injectable FSH (follicle stimulation hormone). its what helps the brain/ovaries develop follies that produce mature eggs for ovulation. you will also hear about gonal-f, which is the same thing under a different brand name.
FSH is a hormone the body naturally produces, but in PCOS and other anovulatory situations, injectable FSH is added to boost your body to produce more eggs so you have a better shot at fertilization/pregnancy.
follistim itself comes in a "pen" form. meaning it doesnt look like a syringe. its somewhat user friendly. although i find that larger doses would be easier with a syringe than the pen,but thats just my personal experience. good luck!

i do not know what gonal f does to you, but i can certainly suggest a few other drugs to switch your attention to zanax.. nothing bothers you, NOTHING. sounds promising?
