Anyone have info on Virginia Beach
as far as good child friendly areas and things to do aside from the beach?

There's a really good aquarium in that area. They have an amusement park kind of attraction right off the boardwalk, and they have all kinds of boat rides to see dolphins and things like that that families go to. Busch Gardens is about an hour or so away, and Kings Dominion is another amusement park that's closer to VA Beach I think. I've gone several times and love it there! You can rent bicycles and carts and ride them around the boardwalk, I could see that being fun for a kid. But I'd definitely recommend the aquarium, I love it!!

I live in VA Beach and this is a very good description of it. I grew up here so please feel free to FM me if you have any questions. There are LOTS of things for the little ones that do not include the beach.
