getting dh motivated
as much as i hate to say it, dh could stand to loose some weight. (he even tells me he wants to.) he is not a gym person. he HATES the gym. he won't go to classes either. i think it makes him feel self conscious. so, what can i do?
we like to do things outdoors, and he will go walking, rollerblading, biking, etc. but we aren't consistent with it. we have a very nice treadmill collecting dust in the other room i want to get his butt on a few times a week.
personally, i love him how he is, but its his health i'm worried about. i plan on getting him a multivitamin this week, (any good rec's?)
also, any good healthy cookbooks i can pick up? i hate to cook, but if i can manage what he is eating, i think we will see a difference.
also, he is an emotional eater. when he is stressed, he eats. he eats late at night. he's even told me, "it makes me feel better." i'm concerned bc i'm recovering from food issues, and if he's got them, i don't want us to be bad influences on ds.
