cold oatmeal

has anyone had cold oatmeal before? i've never had it before and recently tried it (they had it at a cafeteria where i work) and i was pleasantly surprised! It was really good.. the texture was kinda thick but it took a while to eat and left me feeling very full! Now if i can just figure out how to make some of my own! i think they use regular non-quick oats but i'm not sure..

This is one of my all-time fave breakfasts!!!

I use quick oats and mix them with some vanilla soy milk and chill for at least an hour, until the oats soak up most of the milk.

Fave stir-ins are blueberries, sliced bananas, cinnamon, sliced peaches, dried cranberries...ahhhhh I wish I had this for b-fast this morning

i love it - i never eat oatmeal hot

i dont let it sit though i eat it right away like cereal
