Last week when I went in for my first pregnancy scan there was one sac but no yoke yet (at 5 weeks 2 days) and my beta was 1710. I felt relieved, but still really sick from my OHSS. Today I went in for another sono. It was a different sono tech. I was feeling really negative and like something was wrong because my OHSS symptoms were getting much better. She measured the gestational sac and then was looking around. She then said, "I see something very interesting." I thought for sure interesting = horrible. She then proceeded to show me two definite heartbeats and a possible third. I finally stopped shaking, but am still in shock. When my beta wasn't increasing as it should I thought for sure I lost one of the blasts we transferred. I guess we had.... but the one that did make split! I can't believe next Monday is my last appointment with my RE.
I could still use some sticky vibes. I am so nervous and worried and just hoping things continue to go okay. I am sending the same positive thoughts to all of you amazing ladies.
Thanks so much. What a day. I can't believe I am about to type this, but I am going to have IDENTICAL TRIPLETS. This is just plain crazy! God give you what you can handle, right? I've handled a lot of really negative things in my life, and this is nothing but positive! I just pray things continue to go well. One is a measuring a little "younger" than the other two, but the doc said it might catch up by next sono. I've been released to my regular ob/gyn and can't wait for him to read my records! What a day.
