freaking out - TMI (NIFR)
For the past week or so I have been having a lot of pain when going to bathroom (BM), and when I wipe there is a samll spot of red/pink blood. Today it has gotten a lot more painful and just now there was a drop of blood in the toilet but I didn't have a BM. I made an appt with my doctor but not until 5:00. I am sitting here thinking the worst. Please make the rest of the afternoon go fast.

It sounds very like a hemorrhoid. Painful, but nothing to worry about.

as crazy as it sounds, that is what I am hoping for. I had gone once before to the doctor for a similar problem, but it's a lot worse this time.

Re: freaking out - TMI (NIFR)
It does sound like hemorroids. Mine usually get inflammed only when I get constipated.... IMI I'm sorry But this time, ever since I started with the Lupron and all the rest of the meds for my IVF cycle I've been sort freaking out everytime I go... I see blood in the toilet now and this never used to happen to me before I would only see blood when I would wipe. One of the nurses at Dr B's office told me that inflammed hemorrhoids are very common during IVF cycles from all the meds... I tried researching it online but didn't find anything relating to fertility meds...
BTW A good way to tell if they are hemorrhoids is to feel if there is any imflammed tissue.
Hope you feel better!
