What does everyone do durning the day..

I went from working full time to being a SAHM. In the beginning DS was eating around the clock now I can put in the bouncy seat and he can sit their and entertain himself for sometime. We play some and if its not to hot go for a walk or we attempt to go out ( he enjoys the car ride somewhat now and he is getting use to the stroller ride too now). What does everyone else do?

Trips to Target
visit friends
go to the park
go to the mall just to walk around (if it's raining or to dang hot)
get a kiddie pool sit & relax

Thats a good question...I am really lucky to live in a sort of...trendy, young community which is a suburb of Manchester (its called Chorlton) and there is loads going on if you have a baby...its sort of the place to be.

For instance, this morning I got out of the house at like 10.30, walked to the Unicorn (an organic grocery store at the end of our road) got some veggies and some stuff, walked around to the shopping centre and just looked at the shops, then walked around, ran into 3 friends with babies, went for a coffee. Now I am home eating lunch and I will be going out to a baby group in a few minutes with another 4/5 girls with babies. I go to baby groups on Mondays and Tuesdays, Wednesdays we try to meet up and go for a coffee or now that the weather is nice, have a walk in the park (the park in our neighbourhood has a petting zoo...how strange is that) Thursdays the local movie theater has Baby Cinema, and Fridays there is a new baby group which we are trying out today.

Also, we do lots of playdates at each others houses (keep in mind our houses are tiny) so we put blankets down in our living rooms and put toys out, the babies play and we drink tea and talk about not having sex with our husbands!!!

If I don't have anything planned I feel really isolated and depressed! Through baby groups I have met probably close to a dozen new friends through baby groups.

So thats what I do! Aren't you glad you asked?

just wanted to add that after babygroup at the Evangelical Church today...with a MANDATORY singalong, we went back to someones house for a beer...hic...hic
