I hate to even bring up another "how is this town" post but...I do love the advice I get on these boards and do take everyone in consideration.
I am just plainly asking :
How is the town West Babylon.
Anything anyone that lives their can enlighten me with would be awesome!

I definitely like certain areas of West Babylon. I also like the areas that are Babylon but in West Babylon schools. There seem to be good buys in the area and the schools seem good. I have a few family members that live there and like it.

My husband and all his family grew up in WB and we live here now. For the most part I would stay south of the Southern State. There are parts that West Babylon but in the Wyandanch area.
I live just south of the southern state/off Straight Path in the numbered sections and have no problems where I live.
His parents live in the numbered section closer to Little East Neck - again no problems.
His aunt lives off of Arnold Avenue - again no problems.
The schools are good, taxes aren't too bad.

We just bought in WB! I grew up here. My DH grew up in NB. We looked in Lindy,... but we chose WB because the schools are rated higher. The taxes are high compared to NB and Lindy.
I only wanted to look in the numbered streets. I personally like it over here better! A lot of my neighbors grew up here and bought here. It is a great thing!

This is where I grew up. My Dad actually still lives there. WB has a great school district. The town is great and the Town of Babylon has a lot to offer.
I'm hoping to convince DH to buy a house in WB.
