Re: Would you wear pants to a wedding?
I think generally it's an older woman look (like 50+), so I wouldn't.

Re: Would you wear pants to a wedding?
I'd rather wear a dress then pants but I have seen women wear dressy pants to weddings with gorgeous tops that looked fantastic. I wouldn't wear a pant suit type of pant but I have seen some nice pant options out there.

Re: Would you wear pants to a wedding?
I have and I would. But things are different in the tri-state area. There are massive rules to weddings that don't apply elsewhere. (ie: giving money for a wedding is considered rude in other areas of the country, but expected here.) I get all confused by things down here.

Re: Would you wear pants to a wedding?
I have worn a pair of flowy pants, but it was only until I was dancing that people commented that they thought it was a skirt.

I think flowy pants are appropriate for an older woman...but I would try to find a dress.
ITA. When I first read the question I thought to myself "only if I was in my 60's/70's" and I pictured my Great Aunt Mary Higgins - very classy. She has very short hair, very sleek, wore a cream all beaded sleeveless dressy top with very flowy black pants and heels to my wedding - it was so classy! Very her! But, at my age - now, I wouldn't. I mean, I would consider my dressy long black jumpsuit with very dressy accessories for a beachy type wedding or one that was casual or during the day but for a regular typical night wedding no, IMO. HTH!

Re: Would you wear pants to a wedding?
Ok, I ended up wearing a top and skirt (dresses never fit me right)
Now I'll have to find something else for another wedding in a month (I think its lot dressier)
