I do cilantro, oregano, rosemary, chives, and basil.
I buy them at the store and plant them. Oregano, and chives come back every year. Rosemary isn't supposed to, but it did this year. The others I have to plant every year.
I also did garlic this year, it's still small, but FLAVORFUL. Can't wait for the fall to pick more. You take one bulb and seperate the cloves. Plant them (I did paper and all) and they each yield one new bulb.

oh wow. now where do you plant them? do you have like a plant box or you put them in the ground? i really have no clue haha

Click on my profile and you can see pictures from last years garden. I rent, and the boxes came with the apartment. You can do right in the ground as well.
