RSofNY: Dr. Halfen
after juggling around a bunch of appts, my follow-up consult where we discuss the results of all my bloodwork and monitoring tests has been rescheduled with Dr. Halfen. Can anyone comment on him? My original appt was with San Roman, but I wasn't able to keep it because it conflicted with a cycle monitoring test and insurance wouldn't cover both on the same day.

i met him and liked him - dr stelling was my dr but saw dr halfen more. I got pregnant with dr stelling with ds and dr halfen helped me get pregnant this time around

I have seen Dr Halfen on several occasions and I love him! He is a very sweet man. He is the Dr there that actually started my first IVF cycle protocal for me in end of July beginning of August and I am in my 2ww now! Good Luck I'm sure you will like him!

I love Halfen. He is the sweetest, warmest, and most caring doctor. He has done IUI's and consults for me. I really trust him and feel comfortable with him. He's great!!

I originally met with Dr. Stelling, but met with Dr. Halfen many times throughout our tries to get pregnant using chlomid and timed intercourse and now I'm 21 weeks pregnant with twins...I always found him easy to talk to and he has a very nice manner where you can tell he really cares..good luck

I just met him this morning for the first time. I spoke to him last week on the phone about my case of OHSS and he was wonderful -- thorough, clear, and positive. It was a pleasure to meet him in person today. He is very warm and personable. He explained things very well and even wanted to speak to the sono tech about something he saw before he finished our discussion. I was very impressed.

I went to RSofNY and met Dr. Halfen twice. He made me go from feeling very negative to being very positive. Even though Dr. San Roman was our doctor, Stelling did our IUI and I ended up getting pregnant after going to them for a year and 3 months. Stick with them..they are good!

well the office has called to reschedule that consultation 3 times, so i ended up having it with dr. san roman on thursday. but i did meet with dr. halfen for my saline sono and briefly after one of my cycle monitoring appts, and he seemed very nice. he def has a gentle & approachable bedside manner.
