pizza or heros?

just wanted to get your opinion on whats more economical.. pizza or heros? DH is hosting about 15 of his family/friends at our house for a housewarming, 2 weeks later i'm hosting about 30 of my family members and i just wanted to see if in your experience, ordering pizzas or something like a 6 ft hero would save more $... TIA!

Possibly heros, but because some places have specials and include a salad on the side. I also think the hero is more filling than pizza.

I'd go with a hero. You can get lots of free sides with it. I think a 6' hero for 15 people is way to big too.

I'd do the hero.

I got a special once for DH and male family + friends to have back at the house while I was at my baby shower-----it was $99.00 for a 6 ft hero, and it also included a tray of penne ala vodka, sausage & peppers, some kind of chicken entree, a garden salad, macaroni salad & potato salad.

A lot of delis have specials and if you go this route, you are sure to please everyone.

There were also about 15 people who came back to the house and the hero was completely gone.

Pizza is more economical but I would go for Heros.

Pizza gets cold so quickly and then with the summer, you really don't want cheese sitting out for long periods of time.

Like another poster previously said, you can do heros with 1 or 2 side dishes.
