Other RE's

As some of you may remember, I took a break from monitoring with my RE this summer - i had surgery and DH and I badly needed a break from the mental and physical stress of all of this.

Well, August was our last month of trying on our own before we go back to the RE and i'm pretty sure AF is here I have all the symptoms and some of the initial discharge i usually get before AF.

Anyway, I've been thinking about trying another RE for a 2nd opinion, or to see if they have any other suggestions. It's not that i don't like or trust RSofNY, but we're just super frustrated after a year and a half of TTC'ing and 10mos with an RE and there is supposedly nothing wrong with either of us.

After seeing all the raves about Dr. B, i would love to go see him - but his morning hours aren't until 8:30 a.m. in Woodbury, and that's just too late for me. I know he's got a Manhattan office for monitoring, but its up on 57th street, and i work downtown so that doesn't have any convenience either.

I know with all the appointments that we have to go to each month, I HAVE to choose someplace that is convenient to my home (i live in southern nassau) and has early morning appts. I don't get home until 7 pm each night, so unless they have night hours I have to do the morning appts.
My boss is well aware of what i'm going through and is flexible if i have to come in a little late every once in a while. But I just can't get in at noon twice a week and expect to still have the same level of respect from my peers at my job.

Can anyone recommend any other Dr's to try for a consult? I'm not really familiar with other IF places on LI

I had a great experience with Dr. Tortoriello at SIRM, while Dr. B was working with them, unfortunately it ended in a chemical pregnancy. Dr. T and Dr. B are cut from the same cloth as far as their caring nature. And both are on the same page as far as immune testing, clotting disorders, etc. SIRM also had super stats last year. They're located on 38th and 5th, which puts them a little bit closer to you.

I go to Dr. B but i know a few ladies that go to RMA and are very happy. They have an office in Garden city and the city with early morning hours. good luck !

I was going to East Coast Fertility in Plainview (they have a bunch of other locations too). Monitoring hours start at 6:30am. It was real convenient for me while I was working in Westbury.
