What would you want your last meal to be?
I was watching The Best Thing I Ever Ate and this was their topic. So curious, what would your perfect final meal?

Cinnamon raisin toast with a ton of butter
Pumpkin soup
Sweet potatoes, baked, with a ton of butter
An entire original style Junior's cheesecake
Dark chocolate covered caramels topped with sea salt
A bottle of cabernet sauvignon
Maker's Mark with ginger ale
NYC tap water
I think that's it...

I mean, if you KNOW you're eating your last meal, you might as well go out with a bang and all your favorite foods!
I'm gonna be one ****** off dead woman if my last meal is something crappy like a Lean Cuisine or a PBJ sandwich...

A greek salad feta with olives and stuffed grape leaves.
mortons onion bread with olive oil and salt
Mortons filet with a TON of bernaise sauce
3lb lobster - soaked in butter
Satueed button mushrooms and spinach
king crab legs from H20
Large Mcdonalds french fries with ketchup or maybe tater tots......
Washed down with several blue point summer ale's on tap
Dessert
2 block island doughnuts,
My Apple/Pear crisp with tons of vanilla hagen daz and fresh whipped cream
baklava
and a Venti salted hot chocolate ......

A mickey dee's cheeseburger
A piece of 6 ft italian hero
greek lemon soup
creme brulee
a not quite done toll house choc chip cookie
rice krispy treat
Washed down with a bottle of Prosecco, actually a MAGNUM of prosecco

I'd want Sidetracks chicken from Sidetracks. lol. It's my favorite thing ever.
It's chicken breast sauteed in a creamy sherry wine sauce with portobello mushrooms and buttery garlic mashed potatoes.
Then for dessert I'd have Triple Chocolate Meltdown (from Applebee's) which is milk chocolate lava cake drizzled with white and dark chocolate sauces.

This is tough but I'm going to go with:
-a cup of avgolemono soup
- mom's spanokopita
-yia yia's domathes
-pastichio
-grilled pita with tons of tzatziki sauce and hummus
- mom's baklava (which I am allergic to now=()
OR:
- Carmine's stuffed artichoke
- Penne ala vodka
- mozzerella sticks
- chopped baked clams with lemon
- prosecco or a great champagne
- napolean, tiramasu, brownie with ice cream and shlag from peter luger's or banana's fosters and bread pudding from Ohana's in Disney.

Its funny, I read the title and my first question was, "did she watch the best thing I ever ate?"
For me, lobster with butter. my mom's stuffed shells and some kind of dessert.

Stuffed artichoke
Side of penne a la vodka
All American cheeseburger and fries
Glass of Merlot
Coke classic with extra ice
Dessert:
Cannoli from Matteo's
vanilla shake with crunchies from carvel
DD Coffee with half and half
And since I am severely allergic to shellfish, I would probably be in shock and on my death bed, and not even make it to dessert. But, God do I love shellfish.

What a fun thread!
It would be mostly from La Mela's in NYC.
Appetizers:
Fresh tomato and mozzarella
roasted asparagus and peppers
olives
these cheese square thingies that are to die for
lots of fresh bread and butter
Dinner:
La Mela's gnocchi and tortellini
Rigatoni all vodka from Mulberry's in Bay Shore
A slice of margherita pizza from Bertucci's
Dessert:
The chocolate cake from Sally Lunn's house (a restaurant) in Bath, England. It's called "Naughty Cake" and for good reason.
A serving of dark chocolate fondue from the Melting Pot with all the dippers
I would alternate between drinking diet coke and maybe a nice Merlot up until dessert, when I'd switch to a very hot cup of Earl Grey tea.
Then I would die in peace - except for the heartburn.

Hrmm.. tough one.
I'd want it to be a social meal with my best friends. We'd start with a bucket of garlicky steamers and some ice cold beer in frosty mugs.
Then an assortment of cocktail foods - hot dogs, lamb chops, sushi and mac & cheese bites.
An intermezzo of pink champagne sorbet.
Then a surf and turf: King Crab legs and a gorgeous porterhouse. Roasted garlic asparagus and loaded mashed potatoes.
And a salad. A big salad with baby greens, croutons, summer ripe cherry tomatoes, red onion and a garlic basil vinaigrette dressing.
And for dessert? Either tiramisu or a hot fudge sundae. Maybe both since I'd be dying and wouldn't need to worry about the tummy ache afterwards!
