Do the meds get you really hungry?
I was thinking that if I don't get pregnant this IVF cycle I will certainly look pregnant by the end of all this ... 
I just can't stop eating...I'm constantly hungry and I have a tremendous appetite  I haven't started stimming yet - hopefully I will tomorrow - I'm on Ganirelix and Delestrogen shots right now. Can any of you ladies relate to this? This is just not like me at all

i find progesterone to be the worst as far as making me hungry. seriously when im on progesterone i wake up in the morning with my stomach growling.
the antagonists and stim meds dont do it as bad to me personally. but they are all hormones so of course they mess with us
after my last two BFN cycles i def gained like 10lbs  now im just fatter and not pregnant

I guess we are on the same protocol (ganirelex, Delestrogen) And yes, I am constantly hungry and craving all the wrong things (bagels, pasta, sweets). I usually have a pretty good diet but these meds are evil.

I know!!!!!! I've been eating all the things that I've been so good to stay away from for soooo looong. What is the matter with me? I wake up starving in the morning  I think this stage of my IVF cycle is like an artificial menopausal state, I think that's what Dr B mentioned to me  I'm really not looking forward to this when the real thing comes.....

I've been going up and down with my weight.... I had gained 10 lbs with my first injectable cycle and I wasn't even eating any more than usual. When I told Dr B he said that its just water gain and to make sure that I keep drinking a lot of water when I'm on the injectables. And this really worked on my 3rd IUI cycle I didn't gain any weight and also managed to loose the 10 pounds. Now this time around I know this is not water gain, it's just that I just can't stop eating.....

YEs. And i find comfort in foods, i normally would turn my nose up to. McDonalds, bring it .

Yes, the progesterone made me starving. I would eat and an hour later my stomach would be growling again!

I just had a cinnabon, a bagel with cream cheese with nova lox, macaroni salad, and chocolate chip cookies ....and I can keep going if have any more good ideas of what else I can eat....

Puhleese ladies, this week alone was Johnny Rockets, Fried chicken and the worst possible picks for Chinese food.
These meds make me eat very badly.
Tonight I'm being good but this afternoon two sabrett hot dogs from the truck.
and i just finished losing 15 lbs from the gain over the last 6 months.
I'd better get pregnant so I have a reason to look fat.

The bloating def does a number too!!
I felt like I started "showing" immediately when I was pregnant! I bloated up from the progesterone as I normally did in the 2ww, but it just never went away.. the bloating continued until I went off the progesterone at around 9wks.. but it came back just a few weeks later and then rounded out into a true baby belly.
Just remember it's all for something wonderful!!!
