Re: Lap scheduled

I think it took 3 days. But, I was never really in any pain. Only when I got up and down did I ever feel anything.

Re: Lap scheduled

I had one done back in 08, and now it seems I might have to have another one done. I was really sore for 3-4 days, and like PP said it hurt gonig up and down stairs and getting up/sitting down. Good luck!

Re: Lap scheduled

Oh, here's some good advice that someone gave me before my lap. On recovery, you can get um....lots of gas from the procedure. The will pump air in so they can get to the outside of your uterus/ovaries. And it can travel up to your shoulders and cause a bit of pain as your body works to get rid of it. So, to avoid this, put a pillow under your knees for about 3 days. It really worked for me.

Best part is that you go to sleep and when you wake again its all over. Its the doc that has all the work. You just go into a nice little sleep and a day off...lol....

Good luck.

Re: Lap scheduled

I just had my lap on Wednesday, by Saturday I was up and went out. I am back to work today. I was sore at the incision sites and crampy but they went away by Monday. Unfortunately he found lots of endo and removed it. Good luck!!!
