Insurance Coverage

So -- we just found out that DH will lose his job on 9/1

Our medical coverage is currently in his name. We work for the same employer so we'll just switch the coverage to my name.

Here's the snag though - will my stepson still be covered if the insurance is in my (his stepmother) name?

we have my stepson on my plan, they wanted proof of marriage and birth certificates to include him...sorry to hear about his unemployment - hopefully he'll find something soon

talked to our HR person, and she said he will be covered under me (thankGOD) because it was part of DH and BMs agreement that DH would carry insurance. Im sure she'd go apesh!t if we couldnt cover SS.
