Website or program to design my space?
Can you recommend an easy program I can use to play with the layout of my kitchen/potential great room?

I don't know any, but what are you looking to do? Expand out back from where your kitchen is? Would the great room be where your patio is now? FUN!!!!

Yes - pleasee help!
I need to make the kitchen bigger (right now it's a crunch with our table - but the kids will only get bigger (and possibly multiply  )
We want a family room off the back - not huge b/c we don't want to take up too much of the yard. Debating great room, or a more enclosed room off the back - but I don't want to have to push in kitchen chairs to get to the den.
And I don't want my guests seeing my dirty laundry to get to the yard. Oh, and I want my DR to be a DR!
Let me know if you have any ideas Christine!

A couple questions since I don't remember the layout exactly.
Can you knock down part or all of the wall in the formal LR or do you need it for support?
Are the stairs in the front on the house right when you walk in? I can't remember

Can't use the front LR - stairs between it and the kitchen. Right now, we're thinking of reconfiguring kitchen and doing the great room look (you know where we have that "L" layout - see my granite post , I would remove the back wall of the kitchen and bump out the kitchen 12 ft or so - putting all appliances (except fridge) on far wall. We'd try to go across the back of the house about 25ft. We'll see - this is all talk right now
