Level II Sono
I am going for my Level II sono on Thurs. so hopefully we will find out the sex of the baby. I was curious though, has anyone gone for theirs and the sex was not able to be determined? I am 41/2 mo. The Dr. said as long as the baby's legs are open.. they can tell. I just hope he/she is active that day!! Also, can they provide you with a 3D pic at this sono?
Just curious... thanks!!

Re: Level II Sono
I think the only reason would be if the baby didn't cooperate.

Re: Level II Sono
I just went for my level 2 and they could not find out, the baby refused to uncross its legs! lol.
We didn't get a 3-D pic either. I had it done at North Shore University Hospital

Oh Beth...are you going to get another sono to find out or are you going to now wait and be surprised?
I read if you drink some OJ before the level 2 that will get the baby moving...so that's what I did

Hey! I DEF want another sono! I got ripped off! LOL I'm jk. I ate some munchkins and I asked the girl what I could do to help and she said "baby does what baby wants" . I'm just happy everything went OK.
How can I get another sono?
PS Sorry to hijack!

Re: Level II Sono
I had my first Level II at around 19 1/2 weeks, and the tech said she "thought" it was a boy, but not sure. She said I should have another sonogram to tell. I went for another Level II at 25 weeks to find out and this time they had no trouble confirming he is a boy!
Just go there knowing there is a chance you may not find out, so you are not dissappointed if you can't. I was so excited to find out and then when I couldn't for sure, I got upset.
As far as the 3D.... the first time I got it done at S. Nassau and they did not do any 3D images. The 2nd one I went to North Shore Manhasset and she switched it into 3D, but he had his hand over his face, so she didn't get a good shot. She didn't give me any pictures of the 3D, but it was very cool to see!!!
