It's Amazing How In a Second Everything Could Change!!! BAD NEWS TODAY AT MY SONO APPOINTMENT! * LONG*
I am 6 weeks pregnant. I had a sonogram and blood work Wednesday morning. My beta level was at 2650 and the sono saw a tiny gestational sac, but it was doubtful by the DR if he saw a yolk sac YET, although at 5 weeks 5 days you should.
Anyway, fastforward to last night. When I went to do my last of the night's Endometrium Suppositories I noticed that when I took it out (sorry, TMI) there was a tiny bit of pink blood. I panicked! As an hour passed it got worse, turning to red. I e-mail my RE but in the meantime was so scared I went to the hospital. The DR didn't do a sono because he felt I may just have irritated my cervix and he didn't want to go in and do more harm. So, he just took blood. My HCG had risen from 2650 on Wed morning to 4400 last night (a day later). He said labs are different so it can be off but either way its a decent rise for 24 hours.
I woke up this morning and I am barely bleeding, now just a little brown. I went at 7 AM to my Re who did in turn do a sono. Here is where my heart just stopped from the news...
He said he sees the gestation sac, so as of now I am not miscarrying and maybe the bleeding is unrelated/unexplained. But, he said he still just sees the gestational sac. Although bigger since Wednesday's sono, there still is no visible yolk sac, and even at this point (6 weeks) there usually is the fetal pole. He believes my pregnancy may not be viable. He did more blood but said he doubts he'll get much different levels than what the hospital got last night, unless of course its lower (then maybe it is the beginnnig of a miscarriage). He said lets give it 3 more days, come back on Monday. Then you will be 6 1/2 weeks and if we still don't see the yolk sac then the pregnancy definately isn't viable. Have any of you gone through this? I am so lost right now. My heart is aching. I keep hugging my DD (22 MOS) thanking GOD I have her and wondering if maybe I was only supposed to have one child.
I will now sit and wait until Monday, and home in the interim the bleeding doesn't come back and maybe that was a fluke, or a way to tell me to go in today so the DR sees my pregnancy isn't growing.

PS. I keep holding on the these words my RE said...maybe your pregnancy is just lagging behind a little, but I doubt it:)

First off 
Second I see 3 good things. One you stopped bleeding, 2 the sac grew and 3 your levels went up. I knoiw its hard but I would try to focus on that. I believe you said your initial HCG was low (like in the 20s)?? Maybe you have a late implanter. In any case many  going your way.

I am so sorry that you are going through this. I hope that your doctor is right and the pregnancy is just a little behind.
