How far in advance can i bake cupcakes?
I'm making a cupcake tree for DD's birthday next month and need to make about 60 cupcakes. I was going to decorate and frost them the day of her party, but how far in advance can I bake them and how should I store them? TIA!

I wouldn't do them any more in advance than 2 days. You can store them in plastic ziplock bags if you have to. But if you have plastic cake holders, Tupperware, that would be better.

when i took a cake class, i was told that you can bake it and store it in a cake keeper for 5 days!! (before icing) ... I would assume the same goes for cupcakes 
ETA - make sure they are 100% cool before storing in anything!

bake the cupcakes and freeze them. Then thaw them and frost/decorate them. My friend bakes professionally and does this all of the time with cakes and cookies!!!
