Post Coital - Some questions!

After many unsuccessful months, DH and I have decided to go back to LI IFV to explore our TTC options. So far, we have done every preliminary test and the results for him and I have both came back excellent.

The only test we have left is the Post Coital. I can't find the paper with the directions.

Is this what I'm supposed to do?
1. Get positive OPK
2. Call and make app't for next day
3. BD that night

When I did my post coital I had to DTD and go to the dr within an hour after. I would double check with them.

i had my post coital done at li ivf too. wish i could remember the time frame for BD. it was within a certain number of hours before your appointment. you definitely need it to be right before O so that they can check your CM.

I had mine done at LI IVF too. I can't remember the exact number of hours, but I know we DTD the night before and I had to go in first thing in the AM the next day. I also remember I had to be O'ing so they could check the quality of the CM. I would call them to double check.

I'm about to do the post coital with LI IVF. They want you to get the positive OPK, call them that afternoon to set up the appt for the next morning. Then you BD that night. They ask that you test before 4pm so you can call them the day before the appt. Hope all goes well for you!
