Bobs/Raymour and Flannigan
Has anyone here purchased any leather furniture from either one of these stores and what were your experiences?

Bought a leather sofa and loveseat from Bob's. Would never do it again. It has been only 2 years and the condition is very worn down. We are going to call the Goof Proof protection and hopefully see what they will do for us.
We said we will never buy any wood from them again, scratches very easily!

Be very careful what they call leather is not REAL leather it is fake, or it may be leather where you sit but pleather everywhere else. Be CAREFUL

We looked at a bunch of places for leather couches. Bob's prices for fabric couches seemed a lot lower than the others, but their leather prices weren't low enough to entice me to buy from them.
We got our leather set from the Macy's Furniture store on Glen cove Rd in Carle Place.

I have both. i have leather couches from bobs. they are not pleather, but it is cheapo leather. i am fine with it. they are only a year old but held up great with a toddler.
raymour on the other hand i have had some issues with. i have many pieces from there and all except my dining room set have varnish issues. love the pieces, just dont love the quality. i really think its hit or miss wherever you go.

I am disappointed with my loveseat from Bob's. It's not leather, but less than a year after purchasing, it started to come apart.

we found a nice leather couch at Ashley furniture. I wrote down the name, sat in it and made sure i liked it 
then went home and looked up the model online at
furniturebarrel.com and it was 700 cheaper and NO TAX and free curbside shipping or they can put it in the house for 129 and a ten yr warranty for 129
so we are going to order from them. But I am happy I got to sit in it.
we went to bobs tonight and there wasnt anything we liked for the space we want. So Bobs was out for us...but they had cute coffee and end tables
