once you got clearance to close
how long til they actually gave you a closing date?
We got clearance today and we are looking to close on Friday

We closed about a week or two after the All Clear. It all depends on when all the lawyers can get together.

I think we got our closing date the same day and it was for three days later.

it really depends, i think its different for everyone as every situation is different... like for us we got the "all clear" from our mortgage guy, he locked in a rate, and due to the seller's holding up we didn't close until 2 months later (and by that time rates dropped even lower  )
