God Am I Stressed! Why Did My RE Call Me In So Early For My First Sono?

Ok, so I am 5 weeks 3 days pregnant! My beta was at 470 on Friday so if you estimate it SHOULD be around 1400 today. My DR had me come in for my first ultrasound to see "the black dot". Well, he "thinks" he could see it forming but wasn't 100% sure and said it's still early. Yeah, hello, it is so why call me in today and scare the heck out of me? Now I wait anxiously for today's numbers and have to go back on Wednesday for another sono. Another poster on here who had their transfer the same day as me isn't going in til end of week for her first sono. Now I am wishing I went to that clinic because I'm a wreck!

Any insight ladies?

PS. I THINK I am 5 weeks, 3 days. I had my last AF on June 27th and my transfer on July 21st:) (it was a blastocyst embie)

Like I said in your other post it all depends on how high your beta is...it needs to be over 1000 to see something on the sono...

your beta is a little on the low side (you might have a late implanter), wait to see what your number is today....

As long as they are doubling, you should be ok and by the end of this week you should be able to see the sac...

I had my trasfer a couple days before you but it was a 3 day transfer so i feel like we are on the same schedule. Im having my first sono tomorrow morning & keeping my fingers crossed.
It seems like right around 5 weeks is when most RE's do first sono.

Im sure everything will look perfect on wed.

Thanks. Just got my beta and it was 1463, up from 481 on Friday:)

Nice!! I havent had a beta since last mon & it was 564

Can you believe it, a whole week without going to the RE!!!!

I'm the same as you - haven't had a beta since last Tuesday ( 535) and I don't see my RE until Friday. I feel like I dont know what to do with myself!
