PSA - PC Richard Appliance Tent Sale
Is going on right now. Its usually for 2 weeks in August. Route 109, West Babylon. And try to haggle more on the price.

I went there and got Whirlpool washer and dryer with a free 3 yr warrenty. They wouldn't cut the prices.
washer was over $1000 and cut to $480 and the dryer was like $600 cut to $380, just a few dent on them ...
ask for Asher he was so great!

Be aware!! We did this last year and kind of regretted it. We bought a scratch and dent. It didn't come with an owners manual or any of the necessasry hoses. We were not happy

CRAP!!!! WE aren't in contract yet, we have the inspection tomorrow but DH doesn't want to buy anything until we close!!!! UGH!!! We got some great things for our house last time!

We bought a scratch and dent washing machine last year only $200 - didn't have the hoses but you can download the user manual online which we did...

We bought a scratch and dent washing machine last year only $200 - didn't have the hoses but you can download the user manual online which we did...
yup just download the user manual. of course you have to pay some extra for the hoses, but it's worth the savings in the end. We bought all of our kitchen appliances three years ago from this tent sale. And we haggled the prices with a manager and he came down jut a little. Worth trying.

PC Richards is on my list right now!
We bought a bunch of stuff there when we moved in last year--TVs, BBQ, blueray players, etc--spent around 5k there on our PC Richards Card...been paying it down and were down to like 1100...which was going to get paid entirely with DH's work bonus and guess what? They charged us $750 in finance charges which retro back a year!!!!!!! Because the promo period expired. What the????
Also we've bought stuff since then too, so all the payments we've made haven't gone towards the OLD stuff on there, its gone half and half (50% to the old, 50% to the new)...who decides that?
And I'm scared if we don't pay them they're gonna ruin our credit. Grrrrrr.

If you read the agreement you signed that outlines the terms, you'll see all of this in there. PC Richards isn't the only store that does this...they all pretty much do.
You can find really great deals at sales like this. We just bought a $700 BBQ for $175 from Home Depot. Only things missing are the manual (found online) and 3 knobs, which we ordered for like $20.

Yeah DH signed the agreement of course, and never read the fine print. So basically there is no way out of the $750 in interest? How do they apply the money half and half is what I dont understand? Why not apply our payments to the oldest balance first?

We have bought stuff there in the past and the salesmen was always sure to tell us this. Home depot, Raymour and Flanigan, and Best Buy all the do the same thing. It stinks but that is how they get you...

It's usually only the first two weeks in August. Check out the PC Richards in Deer Park. They have a clearance center in the back of that store all year long. HTH!

Thanks thats the one we normally go to, but I remember every year they have this huuuge sale in the back there that is in there warehouse basically....

there is a P.C Richard Dent store in commack I believe they sells only dented thing for discounted prices
