I know I will regret this later, but can you ladies tell me

About where you were with follies (count and size) about Day 4 of stimming? I have been stimming since Monday and I went today for monitoring and now have to wait all day to speak to my doctor regarding how I am doing. So of course, I want to sit at my desk and drive myself nuts. I had about 3 on the right and 4 on the left that measured 15m+, then 2 or 3 on each side 5-6mm and then a few tiny ones floating around. I have nothing to compare this to, since this is my first IVF and would appreciate any feedback you ladies have. TIA !

i just went for monitoring this morning. i have also been stimming since monday and had LOTS of follies this morning on both sides, but all were around 11mm or under. im not doing IVF (unless I have to) so i kind of hope only 2 or 3 mature. im actually a little nervous right now. so i think for you anything over 15mm+ is a good sign.
what meds are you on?

ok i am on follistim and ganirelix and may be adding luveris today depending on what dr. b says (went for monitoring in NYC). i will be on lovenox after ovulation. so we have similar protocols (which is scary since im not doing IVF ). i really think the fact that you have like 7 over 15mm is good, but i would wait for some more responses from people who have stimmed specifically for IVF.

I did my IVF cycle back in January, but since I am anal, controlling and obsessive, I kept a journal of all my cycles that documented the dates, follicles and sizes, etc. I checked the journal for you and... After stimming for 3 days I had nothing to report. After stimming 5 days, I had quite a few follies on the LOV measuring between 9-11mm; I had a similiar amount on the ROV but they were all smaller (7-8mm). My ENDO was 5mm by that time. I stimmed for a total of 9 days. My follicles always started out slow and then grew really rapidly. I have PCO so the concern was overstimming. I had many follicles but not all were able to mature since it was so stuffed in there.

Sounds likes you are a good responder! They will probably wait for those little guys to catch up! Good

i went in for a sono after 4 days of stimming and had about 6 on the right and 3 on the left. The biggest was 8. the dr did not count them all because there were so many small ones. it kind of annoyed me at the time. but then the next appointment, the dr measured and counted them all and there were more. don't get discouraged, a lot can happen in even a day or two.
