So, my brother is getting married in November and I need a dress...
they are not doing a bridal party so the choice is mine
I'd like to wear a burgundy color but am not really finding anything- everything seems to be blue!
Do you think maybe the fall stuff is coming in now and there will be more to choose from in that color?
I really didn't want to pay $$$$ at a boutique (went somewhere and all the stuff was over 1k  ) so I have been looking at dept stores...

Nordstroms will start to have their fall lines coming in now.
Lord & Taylor too. Probably any day now.

honestly, look at BM dresses online. you can choose the color you want and there are SOOOOO many dresses now that don't look like BM dresses at all.
They'll be much more afforable, too!
Check Jim Hjelm, bill levkoff, etc.

Ann Taylor had some burgundy bridesmaid dresses on their website that were "ok". I couldn't get them to post -- sorry.

went to Lord & Taylor- always my go to for dresses!
Went to Nordstroms a couple of weeks ago and nothing
Bloomingdales had the best selection, but still mostly black and blue
Most stores must be btwn seasons- nothing much there
and def want a full length gown which are harder and harder to find!
Bridesmaid dresses are an idea- but I def need to try stuff on
I'll check back next week
My mom is making me nervous!!

I have found that Bloomingdales in NYC has the best selection for dressy dresses. Try there have lots of sizes. GL!
