Are you kidding me?!?!
My Dad and DH spent the whole day yesterday laying our new tile floor. It was a huge job... both the kitchen and the dining area.
Turns out, there were two cases of the tile that are a little bit off in color and it's soooooo noticeable! There is basically a big patch in the room that is a different color than the rest of the room! They didn't see it when they were laying it because when you're on your knees right on top of it, it all looks the same. But as soon as you stand and look at the finished project, it is MORE than noticeable. I don't know what were going to do. These were all from the same lot, bought at the same time. How could this happen?!

That stinks!
Double check all of the boxes and if all the codes are the same go back to the store and demand compensation for them to fix it.
This happened to a friend when they redid their bathroom.

oh man that really stinks! I would take the boxes back to the store and tell them what happened. make sure the boxes have the exact same label and lot number, then they should get you replacement tiles. I would even fight for them to have installers remove and re-lay it for you.

We've checked most of the boxes and they are all exactly the same lot numbers and everything.
We bought them at Home Depot. I'm definitely going to let them know what happened.

Lie and say you paid a contractor to lay the tiles for you and demand they either reimburse you the cost of labor or send someone to re-install for you!

They'll just turn around and blame the "contractor". Someone who's laying tile professionally should know that you should mix up tile from the different boxes, since there are often color variances in different boxes, even with the same lot #.
