I'm exhausted...

Trying to renovate a 3100 sq/ft house to be completed by 7/28 AND take care of the world's NEEDIEST little girl... YAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWNNNNNN... any tips on how to juggle getting some of these renovations done while tending to Alex? It seems I've totally spoiled her. She's not happy unless she's playing in my arms or right next to me, so if I plop her on the floor with some toys and try to do some work while she's next to me on the floor, she starts whining Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon The second I sit down next to her, she plays happily for hours Chat Icon Chat Icon

How about if you set her down with some toys, plenty of safe playing room, and the TV on nearby? Put on Noggin or a video?

Hmmm, I totally didn't think of that! We don't have any furniture in the new place because we're working on it while we live in our old place, but I could always bring over an extra TV and one of her bouncy seats and plop her in front of her Einstein video's for a little while. That will give me at least a LITTLE bit of time to get stuff done! Thanks!!

Happy to help!! Hope it works! I just realized this little trick myself last weekend when I was trying to get some cleaning done. It's good because he's not watching TV the whole time, but it keeps him entertained while he crawls around and plays.

Yeah, I think that's what it is, because as long as there's noise around her she's ok... something to distract her a little. I'm going to try that next weekend... hopefully it will work, because I have an entire house to paint while hubby guts the kitchen!
