When Did You Tell?
Ok, so im a little over 7 weeks and I think I told pretty much the whole world. I wanted to wait until the 1st appt.
Now I sit here and I asked DH about 10x today if I did it too soon.
Im not a good secret keeper..LOL
Is it bad that I opened my mouth. When I told everyone I made sure to ask them to please keep the "3" of us in their prayers
I was just wondering how long everyone here waited..

The first time I told everyone right away and wished I hadn't but this time I waited until the first sono and have told some close friends and family only. You have gone to the doctor so you are fine!

I think its fine to tell people whenever you are comfortable. I told my mom, mil and brother after the blood tests were confirmed. I didn't tell anyone else until my 13th week. I only waited that long because I was spotting alot from my 5th week until 11th week. The doctor told me to be cautious who I tell b/c he wasn't sure if I was going to miscarry or not.
Honestly - if G-dforbid something did happen I would have wanted someone to talk to anyway. So I'm not sure why I kept it such a secret.

The first tie we didn't tell anyone and I had a m/c.
This time, we saw the HB at 6 1/2 wks, told immediate family. Saw the HB again at 9wks and told rest of family and have been slowly letting it out since...Now at 10 weeks there are still a lot of people in the dark. Everyone will know at 11 weeks, but because my schedule will come out with a 2 month break and it will be obvious...

we told both of our families and all of our close friends after the sono where we saw the heart beat at 7 weeks. told mostly everyone else by 9 or 10 weeks! we dont keep secrets very well either. ;)

we told the people that we would want to lean on if g-d forbid something happened. When I was 4 or 5 weeks we told family and close friends. At 10 weeks I told my boss because my m/s was sooo out of control and at 12 weeks I told my coworkers.

We told our parents and siblings about a week after we found out. Around 10 weeks, we told the rest of the family and at 12 weeks I told work and friends.
I think I told you guys on here, before I told anyone (except for DH)
