closets filled with baskets and labels...For paper work, I got one of those plastic file holders from staples and I leave it in the closet.

Paperwork- I shred almost everything, everything else is in one tall file cabinet.

arts & crafts-currently my stuff is all in my craft room, mostly baskets for different things. paint supplies in one, stamps in another, labelmaker, camera accesories, scrapbooking supplies in a couple. I have a couple of paper racks & storage boxes for stickers.


but a few years ago before we moved into our house I turned a basic computer armoire into a scrapbook/craft center



Some of the kids projects I took pictures of and made a few scrapbook pages with them.

my photos are stored by catergory & date in phot boxes until they get in scrapbooks.

Things like labels, envelopes, blank paper, and stationary are all kept in a cabinet under the printers. I have two prints one laser and one all in one machine.

I keep our address book, post its, scratch pads, tape, scissors, markers, pens, eye glass kit, tape measure, scotch tape, paper clips, and menus in the junk drawer in the kitchen. Our kitchen phone is right there too.

I keep our stamps with my check book.

I have a coupon folder that I keep near my front door. It has sections and I go through it every few months to clean it out.

My biggest problem is shredding junk papers that have vital info on them. I just found out that my town has organized a shredding day. I finally have a place to take my huge bag for shredding. I never get around to do it even though I always say I will.

As for art projects, I have a giant clear box and I put things I want to keep in there. Some things I put on my fridge and if/when they get dirty/wet/torn they go in the trash. Other things I give to the grandparents. One of my DSs friends used his artwork as wrapping paper. I thought that was a really great idea.

I wish I had more drawers in our kitchen. I think that would really help.

I have seen a few cute ideas for kids art work. One was pizza boxes...if you have older ones-they can decorate them with markers or stickers. Then you store all the projects from that year in there.

Another thing you can use is those underbed storage bins-sometimes they have wheels. hth
