hoping you ladies could help me with some ivf answers

Hi ladies! I haven't been on this board in a while and last time it was a secret name.
I did IVF at NSUH 2 years ago and was blessed with DS who is now one.
I will be starting IVF again and I forgot some things and was hoping you ladies could help me remember.
I was supposed to go in tomm(mon) for bloodwork and water sono so that I could start provera to bring on a period (i rarely get a period on my own). Then I would strat lupron. However yesterday (sat) i got my period on my own.
Can the doctor still do the water sono? Do you think this screws up my chances for starting IVF this cycle or do you think I'lll just do bloodwork tomm because it CD3? I'm so confused. I can't belive I forgot all this stuff.
One more question - After you get AF how long after did you start lupron? I wonder if it's a good thing that I got af. Maybe he can just get me started right away

What time is your appointment tomorrow?

I would assume that you could go in for the BW and they can start you on lupron right away, but I would call in the am and let them know.

I took BCP's and then overlapped with Lupron so I am not sure about when you start if your not taking bcps.

The water sono you will probably need to reschedule when you are not bleeding.

see i was thinking that maybe they could start me on lupron but i bet he won't because i'm pretty sure he would need to do the water sono first right?

You'll have to wait till AF is over to have watersono. They usually do it CD8-10. Though depends on your cycle of when you O. So after AF stops and before O, is when you'd need to do it. I would bet they wont start you till they know all is good and clear. Sucks waiting but you also want to be sure you don't waste your time.
