Pee Gee Hydrangea
We bought a pee gee hydrangea from Home Depot this year and I am not sure how to care for it. Its the type of Hydrangea that is a tree, so there is one trunk and then I think the hydrangea was grafted on top. It is in bloom now and all of the limbs have basically bent down to the ground. I think that will look ok as the tree fills out a bit, but I can't leave the stuff hanging on the ground and I don't know how or when to prune it. I tried to look up info online but I couldnt really find anything about this type of hydrangea. Any suggestions??

This should help
Pruning links at the bottom.
It's probably not grafted, that's how they grow. They're the only Hydrangea that can be trained into a tree form. Ever since I found that out, I've wanted to get one!

Only one person I know has one and they are right on wellwood avenue in Lindy. SO pretty!!!!

Thanks for the website, it was very helpful. I will wait until Fall to prune the tree, but I can cut some of the blooms to put them in a vase right?
