I used to belong to the one in Stony Brook and I hated it!
WAY too small of a gym. I'd go for classes and there was no room and they don't have enough cardio machines.
There are plenty of other inexpensive gyms that are much better

You get what you pay for there. It's a great price...but they're usually pretty small, so there is often a wait for machines. The classes are good...but can get really crowded.
The hours are also horrible....very limiting.

I belong to Plainview. I have not gone in 1 year. It's cheap!
I will resume in September when DS goes to school.
You need to sign up for cardio equipment. It's 30 minutes max use on cardio equipment.
It's small! But for $10/month that's all I can afford.

pretty much same here. I have not gone in awhile but plan to go back in sept. The price is right, it just sucks that half the time you have to wait 30 mins for a machine since they are all signed up already.
