Best use of mirrors in a bedroom
We have a small master bedroom. We are not bedroom people - in other words, we don't watch TV in our bed, we don't nap in our bedroom - rather we are family room/den people.
However, I would like to make our bedroom appear bigger than it is. In the past, I've used mirrors to do this and I'd like to do it again without making our bedroom appear like a no-tell motel. We do not have a typical bedroom set nor will we. We bought some IKEA stuff because we felt that our walking space was so limited, why bother putting high end stuff in there if we would never be in there to sit an enjoy it.
Sooooooooo, if anyone has any non-traditional ways they used mirrors in their bedrooms (not part of a bedroom set please), or wants to find pics for me, please post! TIA!

Oh please nothing in my life is exciting enough to make it over there and if it were, I'd end up divorced for posting it! THUS the reference to "no-tell, motel".

Oh dear look what I've gone and done now! Between this thread and my comment on BALLCOCKS in toilets, I am sure to ruffle a few feathers.
But seriously folks, my room is lacking. Any help would be appreciated.

I think its great but our room is so tiny that I think I'd prefer to have one BIG and decorative mirror to make the space appear bigger.

Do you have nightstands on either side of your bed?
If you do, put lamps on each and hang those $5 door mirrors behind the lamps - so they're flanking your bed.
The mirrors will give you space, plus the light from the lamps will make the room appear larger.
eta: I lied - the mirrors are $15, not $5. If you have white trim and molding - I'd go with the white one.

We will have night stands. Id like to mount lamps on the wall on either side of the bed. Right now, we don't have a headboard. Who knows what we will do in that department.

You can probably anchor it to the wall with a furniture tether, same as the kind you use to anchor dressers to the wall.

or like Jenn suggested, just leave say the middle one out for the lamp which would be nice bc itll bounce the light around.

Keep in mind that this was the guy who took the china from the china department at Fortunoff to both the stemware and flatware departments to make sure they all coordinated.
My mom, may she rest in peace, bought whatever the frig she wanted and dad footed the bill. Wish she was around so I could ask her how she managed that.
