Westchester Doc
Hi all, I know this is really a LI board, but I have moved to the Westchester area since joining LIW. Since a similar board does not seem to exist in Westchester, I'm hoping some of you might be able to help. I am looking for RE recommendations up in lower Westchester or Riverdale. I know that Jon Stangel is highly recommended, but he does not take my insurance. My OB-GYN highlighted a few docs on the insurance list I gave her, including a Dr. Francine Einstein. Does anyone know anything about her or have any other recommendations?
Thanks!

I live in Westchester too. When I saw my obgyn, she gave me a business card for Advanced Fertility Services in Yonkers. I am not seeking the help of an RE just yet so I don't know anything more about them.
AFS Website
After just checking out the site, I realized these services are provided by one specific doctor at the office I already go to.

Re: Westchester Doc
Thanks so much for the info. I just realized that my doc also highlighted Ditkoff's name. I just didn't realize that he had an office in Yonkers b/c my list only showed the Manhattan office. I looked at his website and it looks like some of the testing is only available in Manhattan.
Anyone else know this practice - or others in Westchester?
Thanks again.

Re: Westchester Doc
RMA has an office in Westchester with Dr Klein (White Plains)
I HIGHLY recommend them & him. Great personality, great success rates, etc.
Most tests and procedures can be done there (except IVF, which is done in the Manhattan office).
During weekends (if something in your cycle should fall on that day), you see someone in Manhattan.

I agree. There is also RMA of CT, that has offices in Rye. I have also heard many great things about RMA. My coworkers daughter attributes her son and her baby on the way. She is 7 weeks and doing great. Good luck!

Re: Westchester Doc
Yeah, my doc had originally recommended RMA in the city, but they don't take my insurance.

Re: Westchester Doc
Have you found a regular OBGYN? My previous doctor before I moved to CT, was the Dr. Close in Rye. She is great and I am sure she could refer you.
