I love my FIOS
Except they cannot get my bill right. If their lives depended on it they couldn't do it.
I spoke to 3 people today from Verizon and not one of them can figure out the right amount I owe.

oh man still cant figure out that bill - had it for almost a year...actually as of last night we are switching back to cablevision - they gave us such an awesome deal for less $$ it was hard to say no to - maybe i can start to understand my bill again lol

its so funny b/c everyone i know loves fios but complains about billing... their billing system is horrible! every few months i am calling and complaining!

and you call one number and reach a human they have to transfer you and then you get disconnected.
They are lucky I even try to pay the bill.

I cannot stand their billing or customer servive. They added channels and were charging me without permission. Before I moved they kept shutting off my services because they were getting the dates wrong.

Can I ask why you prefer Fios over Cablevision?
Our new house has Fios in it, and we can get a good deal because all the wires are there already.. . I actually just got off the phone with them and they quoted $138/month for 3 TVs for phone, internet and TV (HD/DVR).

Their set top boxes are way better, changing channels is way quicker, more channels for less money, multi room dvr..internet is faster, picture is clearer and it never goes down.
list goes on and on.

... and oh, the Free On-Demand! I barely need a DVR anymore at all - any show I want to watch on NBC, CBS, ABC, Bravo, Lifetime, etc. are all there like a day after they air live. It's awesome.
ETA: the cable box never shuts itself off and needs to reset the box either. Optimum would do that to me once or twice a month.
