Fruit kebobs
Has anyone ever made them? I thought this was a cute idea instead of a fruit salad. What is the best fruit to use?

Re: Fruit kebobs
I used watermelon, grapes and strawberries but I am sure you can use a variety of things.

Re: Fruit kebobs
If you aren't grilling them - anything. My kids love pineapple, melon, strawberries, grapes and banana chunks interspersed with marshmallows or sometimes chunks of mozzarella. When it's a special occassion we'll do a little chocolate drizzle.
When I grill - I use firmer fruit - pineapple, melon, mango. I have a glaze that I make from brown sugar and lime (courtesy of Alton Brown) - that I toss it in before grilling.

Re: Fruit kebobs
If you aren't grilling them then just copy the look of edible arrangements. The grilled ones are extra delicious
