Personal Framed Photos?

How many is too many? It just hit me that I have them on almost every wall in my house (besides the kitchen and bathrooms ofcourse) and the fireplace mantle is covered. They are spaced nicely but should I add some art? Do you think it's overkill??

i think it depends on the photos...if they are of you, hubby, friends, family i think it's fine...i like a lot of photos, i didn't get a chance to put any up yet - i just have a bunch in the office/den and one of us in our kitchen...

in my office/den i have a mini gallery wall of all b&w wedding photos - eventually i plan on switching some out when we start a family so it will be our family gallery but for now all i have is wedding pictures - no kids yet....i figure it's "my" room so it's not obnoxious to have an area dedicated to my wedding but i wouldn't have done that in a common area of the house like my living room for example (a family gallery yes, just me and DH no)...i also have pics on my desk (me with parents, me and DH, and i plan on adding a few more photos - my sister, my best friend, nephew and niece) like i said it's my room so i plan on putting up whatever makes me happy in there and i don't care if it's tacky or too many photos

i really like photos in common areas - i think it makes the house feel more homey - i think as long as all of the pictures are not just of you guys alone that it's okay...i think it would be weird if the whole house was a shrine to only you and your DH - unless of course it's dedicated to one wall in your office

i think it would be nice to add some art but i don't think it's a crime to have a bunch of photos out that make you happy...i keep telling DH that we need to have some kids so i can decorate the wall with their photos i love family photos!
