Wish me luck
Going to the gastro to demand my letter.
I hope I leave with it. Schlepping from my way downtown office all the way to 70th and York is a PIA.
After that, I have to get the ins. co to approve.

after waiting for him to see me for two hours, I got the letter.
He said he was finding it hard to come up with compelling information to put in the letter as to convince the insurance company.
I said, use what you have and from your professional experience.
He had an epiphany while we were chatting and came up with an article and a study to reference. The letter and his notes will be sent to UHC tomorrow.
Let's hope it gets through.

FINALLY!!!! Why can't he send it today!!!!! You should call tomorrow to "remind them" to send it. But, that is great news. Glad you saw him in person. Sounds like he really wants to help. I'm sure the letter wasn't easy to write.

The letter has already been re-written to exclude all references to IVF and pregnancy because it's not FDA approved for it. Dr. B has seen the letter and liked it. Sending it off today.
Please let something go right.
