Question that I heard on Z-100 this morning....does a woman have to tell their husband their weight?

Do I think they HAVE to tell their husband? No. But I dont think it's a big deal either. My husband knows my weight.

i dont see what the big deal is....I guess they dont HAVE to share it, but I dont see why not.

To me absolutely not, and being very overweight myself I can understand why it would be difficult to share the "number" with your spouse.

DH never asked me my weight and I never offered it, he found out about a year ago when we got additional life insurance and I had to fill it in on a form. It didn't phase him at all, but it was difficult for me to do.

He doesn't know but he has an idea.

And I won't bring it up and he has not asked.

I don't have to tell my husband everything for pete's sake.

I dont think she has to tell him but I do tell my husband. I think it holds me accountable to a degree

No way. He doesn't get to know and he knows he doesn't get to know.

Even when he came to all of my pregnancy appoints, I always warned the docs/nurses not to let it slip.

My DH never knew my weight I recently told him bc he guessed my weight and it was MORE then it was

Honestly to ME it is a big deal, I don't even like knowing my weight

I do not think you have to tell your DH your weight, but my DH more or less knows what I weigh

I don't think a woman has to tell, but DH knows down to the pound for me.

I had never told my weight to DH. I recently told him because we were talking about how much weight I lost and my target loss, etc.... I don't know his weight. He never told me.

It's not like he is going to leave me and me leaving me if we know the actual number.

We see each other naked. Who cares about a number? The physical appearance is pretty clear for anyone to see.

Have to? No. But IMO it's just a number. Unless he's totally oblivious I am sure that most have a ballpark idea.
