Has anyone been there recently? How is the food? Bar at night?

Rather than party, DH is taking a group of our friends out for dinner. We were thinking Long Beach but know how crazy it is around this time. We though Island Park was a good alternative but neither of us have been there in a couple of years.

We figured we would eat dinner and than hang out at the bar after...thought Island Park might be nice since there are a few options within walking distance of one another.
