Bigelows-RVC
Today DH and I were visiting his grandma in the hospital and stumbled upon Bigalows in Rockville Centre.
It is a clam and seafood house--open since the 30's (I think  ) just a counter, very New England style--reminds me of a place near my family in Rhode Island.
Their New England and Manhattan chowders were delish.
DH had the fried clams and I had grilled tuna steak..so yummy--their fries were delish to.
I recommend it to any clam/seafood lovers looking for a real authetic place

omg! DH & I LOVE this place!
I love that it's very casual. The guys who own it are sooo nice and friendly.
They have AMAZING lobster bisque and popcorn shrimp too....

This place is awesome! I used to live in RVC, just on the north side of Sunrise and loved going there!

We LOVE it!!!! The guys, I think they are brothers, are so, so nice. There used to be a Syosset location, too.
It's not cheap, but it is the freshest most delicious fried fish/ The onion rings are also terrific.
Oh, now I'm craving it
and yes, from the 30's opened 1939. They are so nice and even gave DS a Bigelow's baby t-shirt the first time we brought him in.

Yes! Which is good because it gets really crowded on the weekends. I see people getting take out all the time.
