Exterminator Contract Rates
If you have a contract with an exterminating company, do you mind telling me how much you pay for the year?
I had a guy from Terminix come to the door saying there is a neighborhood rate they are offering and I'm not sure if what they are offering is a good deal.
Any reviews of your experience with Terminix would be great too. TIA!

What is he selling?
A termite contract?
How often do they come.
Neighborhood rate? Never heard of it. But a great sales line.

He was selling a 1 year contract where they would come quarterly. He said that a bunch of my neighbors have been having problems with carpenter ants and bees.
We haven't had any pest problems (knock on wood) except I feel like we have seen a bunch of spiders outside and inside the house.
The guy was really aggressive in his sales pitch and was being a real jerk when I said I had to think about it and discuss it with my DH. He said he would come back later. I really don't think I need it but was just curious if it was really a "deal". I think I should have gone with my gut and told him to take a hike.

We pay $437.00 a year to Terminix. We have that system in our ground around our house. They come a few times a year and anytime we call them. It costs extra for other pests.(Ants and bees) We paid the extra, I think it was like $200.00 or something, the first year we had the house because we had a carpenter bee infestation
