Reccommendations for places near East Meadow for heroes
Can anyone reccommend a place for heroes near East Meadow. I'm trying to find a place for my sons birthday party.
I've lived here for 5 years and gotten from a few places but haven't loved them.

There is an Uncle Giuseppie's (spelling?) right on Hempstead Tpke in East Meadow!!! Definitely get one from there, yummy!!!

LOVE Colliseum Deli. Have used them for catering a number of times and are always very happy with them!

Park Deli in N. Merrick. It's on Park Avenue off Jerusalem Ave. Its my friend's deli and catering business - they specialize in Italian cooking as well.

For DS b/day I used Uncle Guisseppes for chicken cutlet and bjs for regular (bjs is good and cheap) my hero is good too!

I ditto Park Ave Deli as well- I grew up on Park Ave- and it's an AWESOME palce- everythign is outstanding.
Also, nearby on Jereulseam (sp) is My Hero, which is also good.

I got from Meadow Dairy and it was okay. They did screw up my order and make it a day early.. but, they were nice about it and put it on new bread the day of.
However. I just got a hero from Cirellos (spelling) on Wantagh Ave. (in the friendly's shopping center) and it was the BEST hero ever. The bread was like gormet. Everyone kept saying how it was the best hero they ever had. I thought that was good because, really, who gets compliments on the hero?

I always use them... They are great! They are family owned and soooo nice! I also have a food allergy and they are always so cautious!

i've heard people rave about meadow dairy(corner of prospect and east meadow ave) but when dh went in there the milk was out of date so i didnt take it to be a good sign....
i think there's a place in the pathmark center that use to advertise having a chopped salad bar- so they might be good.
