I joined a gym!!
After months, and months, and months of me putting it off...I finally joined LA Fitness this afternoon! I've been trying to fix what I eat, and work out on my own with workout videos....and it's just not doing enough. I've lost about 10 pounds over the course of 4 months....which is pretty sad. And I'm not doing anything that's going to keep it off.
So, today, my husband and I went and joined the gym together (they actually had a great rate if you join together, so it'll be about $40 a month each) and I have my orientation tomorrow afternoon with a really intimidating muscle man.
Wish me luck!!! I have a feeling I'm going to really really need it!!!

That's great!
I do also have to say that if you need help watching what you eat Weight Watchers has been amazing! I never could have lost any weight without it. It's amazing to see what we are supposed to be eating daily, versus what we actually eat.

It was great! I had a free session with a personal trainer, who worked out my legs. It was so embarrassing because I am so out of shape...I was dripping with sweat doing simple exercises. And I got light-headed in the middle of it. .
But, I realized that that's what I need to get into shape...I need someone to kick my butt! So, I signed up to get a personal trainer 2 times a week.
I go back tomorrow....and hopefully, I can walk by then...because today.....yeah, it's not so easy!! I guess it worked!
So my summer plan....personal trainer 2 times a week, and a class 2 times a week. And I'm back on WW. Fingers crossed!

How exciting!
I am a member of the one in farmingdale and usually go twice a day.
I did the free session with the trainer too and he kicked my butt! lol
I am big into the pilates classes there right now.
