Ok, so TWO times already this spring / summer
I've got POISON IVY OUTBREAKS!
I should be sporting huge biceps with the amount of steroids i have been taking!
ugh!
so... do they make sprays to kill this beast, or what?
i need help.

My neighbor got it 3 times in a little less than 2 months because the poison ivy is so bad along the fence line that it canopied one tree completely and is killing it.
I told him that I have some on my side too and he took care of it for me. He said to spray bleach on it. It worked I don't have it there anymore.
I also noticed some poison ivy and oak growing along side my house and he said he has used Ground Clear in past but it kills everything and nothing will grow for a a year. I was thinking of using it since I do not have anything on side of the yard except 3 huge pine trees and the only thing holding me back is that those are going to die and fall.

bleach? hmmmm. sounds cheap and easy to do.
i have a spray bottle too! i'm doin' it today..
Mine is from my rear neighbors house. i should tell them i am going to do this, right?
they do have a dog... an awesome dog,i might add...

def tell your neighbor you are going to use bleach. don't want the dog to get hurt.

Ah ha! Tea tree oil, i got that! use it to remove skin tags...
ETA: wow! i sound beautiful don't i? ivy rash, skin tags... sheesh, i am a mess!

Lowes sells a poison ivy killer (liquid form) as we purchased it for my MIL to use along her back fence. It works well.

I wouldn't touch anything on my neighbor's side at all, but I'd definitely talk to them first if there was a chance of poisoning their dogs. Anything you put down will probably kill all vegetation around it, not just the poison ivy.
For small areas, I spray it with my handy white vinegar/dish soap/water mixture. Then I cover it with a brick to smother it. I had a full-body poison ivy rash the year before last and it was terrible! The oil that causes the rash is in the roots and runners under the ground too, so be careful. If it's coming from their yard, I might dig down and install some kind of barrier, about a foot deep.
