carpeting price - Home Depot?
I would like to have a runner put on my stairs and then carpet my upstairs hallway (probably about 12 feet) - what do you think this will run me?
also considering doing the baby's room - it's about 10x12?
What am I looking at here?

I am not sure about price for tat specifically but I do know we looked into HD carpeting when we were doing 2 staircases and our basement and the price was more than the carpet store we used (and we ended up getting berber)
HD will charge you to come and measure and also for padding.

I know that Lowes has a special going on that no matter how large the job (whole house or one room) the installation charge is only $100.
Then all you do is pay for the carpet, which varies on what carpet you choose. They have many price ranges and styles.
ETA: if you go to Lowes they have carpet style on display boards and on the back of each one gives you price per sq.ft.
